About Me
I grew up in the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine, where forests, rivers, and rugged peaks shaped my childhood and inspired a lifelong love for the outdoors. My grandfather’s stories of shepherding in the high alpine meadows and my own first treks with cousins and family sparked a dream that has stayed with me ever since — to live and work in the mountains.
Over the years, I have organized and completed numerous treks across the Carpathians, both in summer and winter, learning the value of planning, resilience, and safety. Hiking has become my way to recharge and to bring people together, whether sharing food around a campfire or leading friends and family on multi-day adventures.
Beyond the trail, I bring professional skills from my background in marketing, project coordination, and hospitality, as well as a Food Protection Certificate earned in New York. As a marathon runner, I’ve completed four World Marathon Majors — two of them under three hours — building endurance, discipline, and the ability to plan for long-term goals.
